By 2009, Jonathan had become involved with a new church planting effort out of state and he relocated to that area.

He sold the business to his friends, the Shertzer brothers, who are located south of nearby Columbia, PA. They were seeking to diversify their family’s seasonal lawn care and landscape business and the seasonal nature of a heating oil business seemed like a natural fit.

With additional resources at hand and the goal to build upon the founder’s vision for Town & Country Fuel, the Shertzer family added new staff and additional services as our customer base grew throughout Lancaster, York, and Cumberland Counties.

This led to the establishment of a 2^nd delivery location in Mechanicsburg, PA, new relationships with local HVAC companies to service our customers’ heating systems, and the debut of our propane services division in 2015.
